Rosecroft moving to Mondays and Wednesdays

Fort Washington, MD – Rosecroft Raceway will be celebrating 75 years of harness racing this fall with 26 days of racing starting Monday September 16, continuing through December 18th . Rosecroft will be racing every Monday and Wednesday with the usual 7:15 pm post time. The one exception is this year’s edition of the $125,000 Potomac Pace will be raced on Sunday November 17th with a special 3pm post time.
Pre-meet qualifiers will be held on Wednesday September 11 at 11am. The track will also be open that day for training from 10am – 2pm. Qualifiers during the meet will be on Wednesday’s at 5:30pm.
The draw schedule will be Thursday for Monday. Scratch time 9:30am Friday. Friday for Wednesday. Scratch time 9:30am Saturday. The first draw will be on Thursday September 12. All horses need to have a current negative Coggins on file with the racing office prior to entering.
The two $10,000 preliminary legs of the Maryland Sire Stakes for 2-year-old will be conducted on Wednesday, September 25, and Wednesday, October 2, followed by the $87,500 finals on Wednesday October 10.
