ROSECROFT FALL MEET RACING APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE

Live meet to commence September 15

 (Fort Washington, MD – August 13) – Applications for Rosecroft Raceway’s 29 date fall harness meet are now available on-line.    Live racing will commence Saturday, September 15 and run every Tuesday and Saturday evening through December 22.    First race is 7:25 p.m.

The first condition sheet for the fall meet will be posted on-line August 24.   Qualifiers will be conducted Saturday, September 8 at 10 a.m.

The fall meet will feature several enhancements.   Average daily purses are being increased 75% to a projected $35,000 per night.     In addition, a new preference system will be instituted to incentivize Maryland horses and horsemen.    Entry preference in all races conducted at Rosecroft will be based on the following priority order: 1) Maryland owned horses, 2) Maryland sired or bred horses, 3) Maryland trained horses and 4) Maryland foaled horses.   All horses entered must be have a completed and approved racing application on file and must meet all Rosecroft qualifying standards and race condition eligibilities.
