Vincent quickly returned to the winners circle with owner Tom Cooke’s Like A Rocket. Roger Hans conditions the winner who overcame an early interference and gamely rallied to win going away in 1:59.1. This was Like A Rocket’s first win in eleven tries. Vincent wasn’t done for the night although he wasn’t able to return to the winner’s circle. He tallied a second and three consecutive show finishes later in the card.

Donnie Russell continued to drive well when partnered with trainer Greg Trotto winning the fourth race with the consistent check-getter Zorgwijk Lucifer in a lifetime mark of 1:59.3. Russell rolled Zorgwijk Lucifer and made all poles winning ones.  Trotto co-owns the winner along with F.W. Sorrer and VIP Internet Stable.

Russell then quarter-moved  Scott Woogen’s K J Hannah to the lead, fought off hounding pressure during the final quarter and prevailed by a desperate neck in a mark setting 1:57. Jason Green trains the now three time winning in 2012.

Also of note was world champion Googoo Gaagaa  stopping  by for a qualifier. Trainer Richard Hans drove the winner to the easiest 1:57 trotting mile seen at Rosecroft this year.
