Braden scores triple, Wagner and Vincent record doubles at

Rosecroft on St. Patrick’s Day Card

                Corey Braden won three races including the nights fastest with Matties Gem in 1:55.2 for trainer “Freddie” Collazo. This mile shaved 2.4 seconds off the 8 year olds lifetime mark.

                Braden also recorded the late double winning with owner-trainer Stacey McLenaghan’s Shakey Slim (1:56) and then ending the evening by visiting the winner’s circle with Mafia Hall (1:56) who scored his third in a row with Corey at the controls for trainer David Baker. Dana West and Sharon Ann Baker own the winner.

                John Wagner scored a double winning with Flirtatious Miss, Duane Rust trains for owner Wayne Rust, in the opener in a lifetime mark of 2:03.1 and then outsprinted Jesse’s Gem (Chris Welty) to the wire with JA’s Charmer who also set a lifetime mark (2:00) shattering her old mark by 3 plus seconds. Wagner trains JA’s Charmer for Pamela Wagner.

                Justin Vincent broke Aptly Skilled, owned and trained by Frank Miller Jr., maiden in the second race in a sharp 1:58.1.  Vincent returned to the winner’s circle with Andy Savage’s Ms America in 1:56.2 who chopped 5 seconds of his previous lifetime mark.

                Racing returns to Rosecroft Tuesday night with a first post of 7:25 p.m.
